Skylab in Mindanao

Have you tried this before? An impressive ride yet life-threatening to both passengers and driver.

A motorbike ride known as Skylab in Mindanao. This is their means of transportation. It can carry 8 up to 10 passengers. Indeed, it is very challenging on the part of the passengers to observed good balance so that the motorbike captain does not have to struggle the bike gravity.

 Skylab is a must to try if you visit Mindanao

New Year Resolutions

Here are a few resolutions that anyone can add to their life list:
1. Find something you love to do and do it every day
2. Save a bit from you allowance every day;
3. Write to a friend you’ve lost touch with;
4. Do your chores or homework without being reminded;
5. Let go of one thing you’ve been angry about;
6. Eat five fruits and veggies a day;
7. Find a sport you enjoy and be more active;
8. Find color that makes you smile;
9. Smile more;
10. Laugh more;
11. Hug more people;
12. Use less plastic;
13. Say thank you more often;
14. Plant five trees;
15. Spend more time with your parents;
16. Enjoy an hour outdoors every day;
17. Compliment one person a day;
18. Start a journal;
19. Get eight hours of sleep;
20. Drink more water;
21. Be kinder to your family and friends;
22. Take shorter showers
23. Remember people’s birthdays;
24. Start the day with a song;
25. Prayer harder

Friday Fill-Ins: Dentist's Hand

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas if you celebrate that...and a happy Boxing day to those that celebrate that! And...here we go!

1. They’ve advised me to see and visit my dentist.
2. I will be going to my dentist for tooth extraction today.
3. What is the feeling during extraction? Can’t figure it out.
4. It helps me relax and soothe when I watch my favorite TV shows.
5. Eyes are so tired of staying up late at night.
6. I have not started yet my school paper works ut oh but, will try my very best to work on it.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finish my back log task, tomorrow my plans include cleaning the house and shopping and Sunday, I want to celebrate my new year’s eve at my parents house!

Fire Incident

I snapped this picture last October 4, 2010 while I was in the roof top of our school. This fire incident hits more than 100 houses in Urgello, Cebu City. It ruined both offices and residential building.

Reflection:
No life is useless and no day is vain,
For God has a purpose for sunshine and rain.
All are discourage, and everyone cries,
But, we are never alone beneath cloudy skies.

All hearts can break...they are fragile as glass,
But God will mend them, and this too shall pass.
Sometimes we succeed, and sometimes we fail.

So follow your dream whatever the trail,
For no one’s a loser who gives it his best,
And you can stand tall above all the rest,
Those who are faithful are noble at heart,
And no life is useless when God has a part.

Be swift to give praises and slow to complain...
God has a purpose for sunshine and rain.
