Manang Biday is a folk song. It is an Ilocano courtship song.
What is the tempo?
Is it fast, moderate, or slow?
The tempo of the song
is moderate (lively).
What is the message
of the song?
It is a traditional
Filipino courtship serenade called "Harana." The man is asking the
lady called Biday to look outside the window and listen
to how he sings his heart out for her. This is to show respect and/or interest,
the woman opens the window and listen to the serenade.

I am a teacher from Macabud NHS in Rodriguez, Rizal. I'm a mathematics major but teaching MAPEH G7. Although i attend a seminar for G7 but it was very hard for me to adjust in this subject. Can you please give some hints or guide in making lesson plan and Periodical Test construction. What type of question should i used for the 4 facets of understanding, my principal told us that the type of question should be base on the 4 facets of understanding. I hope that you can help me in my problem.

I think it is really important for seventh graders to be taught coverages like Manang Biday. In our modern generation, the most common way to court a lady is through text or Facebook, which I think is really insincere. I am grateful to have been taught this lesson since I actually got an idea on how men treated women in the old times; with respect and sincerity. It is also really significant to have this as a part of the curriculum so as to show boys the proper and right way to get a woman's heart.
Hello! I maybe be late seing this post, but can I ask a question. What is the costume and implement of manang biday? I am a student and this is our homework. We will pass this tomorrow and I hope you can answer ASAP.
