For me, the art and principles of design used in the different art forms in Mindanao are beautiful, artistic, colorful, and brilliant. These perfectly describe their culture and their lives.

From the many artworks of Mindanao, many shapes, lines, and colors can be seen. The lively colors symbolize their different culture and traditions. Some artworks may look symmetrical, some look asymmetrical but all of them show similar elements that can be recognized from other artworks.
I have observed that most arts and crafts of Mindanao are full of colors and has very great patterns, form, shapes, texture etc. One of the their arts and crafts are called yakan weaving, it uses bright, bold and often contrasting colours in big symmetrical patterns. The art principles are just great.

The arts of Mindanao has a unique designs. Their arts have different colors, textiles, shapes, patterns, etc. that makes it look attractive. Their arts are very related to their culture and tradition.
The elements in arts that are used in the designs are color, shape, line, and more. From what I can see, there are variety of colors and shapes in both pictures. There are also lines in both pictures, in the first picture both straight and curve lines are shown while in the second picture only straight lines are shown.
The principles of design that are used in the designs are pattern, balance and more. Both pictures have a pattern of alternated and repeated elements. There is also a symmetrical balance in the second picture.
Their arts are unique and nice to look at.
