Sinulog 2011 Schedule of Activities

It's fifteen days more to go, sinulog 2011 once again!

The Sinulog is yearly festival and one of the biggest and most pulsating celebrations held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City, Philippines. Sinulog is a dance ritual that commemorates the Cebuano origin,”pagan people”, and their acceptance of Christianity.

The festival honors the child Jesus, known as the Santo Niño (Holy Child), patron of the city of Cebu. The Sinulog celebration by tradition lasts for nine days, culminate on the final day with the Sinulog Grand Mardi Gras Parade.
