Computation of Grade Transmutation

  • Highest grade:96%
  • Cut-off passing percentage: 60% of the perfect score
  • Zero Score: 70%
  • Absent and Non-Performance: 68%
Steps:
  1. Pair the Perfect Score (PS) with the Highest Grade (HG);
  2. Below the PS write result of 60% PS, while below HG write 75;
  3. Find the difference for evey pair.
  4. Determine the interval of the passing marks by dividing D1 and D2;
  5. The resulting interval must be at least rounded off to 2 decimal places.
  6. Determining the interval of the failing marks by dividing the difference of one score lower of 60% of the PS and zero by the difference of 74 and 70.
  7. Construct the distribution table according to the computed intervals.
