Food to served in Lent "Binignit"

For many years, I observed most of our neighbors prepared binignit during Good Friday. It took a minute for me to pause and start to wonder, why binignit is served during these days.

Holy week is all about remembering the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. As part of Filipino culture, we usually cooked and served binignit as one way of fasting and participating in observance of lent.

Today, we cooked binignit here in our province. Here we go...

i love binignit especially hot.i like tasting banana in the binignit.

i like tasting binignit if it is affordable.you wont be sad after tasting the binignit because it wont make your pocket sad.

binignit is also great in cold seasons.it helps you in keeping you body warm.

yeah......binignit is best this lenten is not season.binginit is very tasty and is right to replace meats that is not allowed tihs lenten season.
