Plants and Planters

I can still remember  simple yet challenging project in science. When we were in high school, we all given a task. Since, we do not have enough space in our school campus. We plant the seeds in garden planters and watch them grow. We did not seem it unbelievable that a tiny seed could grow and become a beautiful flower. It was very amazing and surprising to us.

We are so delighted that we take turn in watering the soil. Every morning we have to put the small planters outside for sun exposure. Watching the first green shoots come out from the soil was a mystery. For me, it was a moment of life, reminder of the mystery of growth, multiplication, and beauty that every living thing embodies. A month after, we had an inter school beautification contest the advocacy of clean and green. Therefore, we look for indoor plants and place it in appropriate indoor planters for our school lobby.

Good for us, the PTA or Parent Teacher Association help us in this program. We work hand in hand to have presentable output. Yes, it works even until now we see the beautiful plants and colorful planters inside the campus. We have learned that all planters are at reasonable price. The PTA acquires it in very less expense. Indeed, it was durable, attractive, and tidy to look at.

  1. What a wonderful school project! I have planters on my porch, and I admit I am still in awe when I see those tiny green shoots coming out of a tiny seed a planted in the soil! Just miraculous, isn't it?
