How to Treat Sore Eyes

In my previous post, I mentioned about sore eyes and mode of transmission. Now, here are the simple reminders if someone has infected with sore eyes.

The Do's and Don'ts:

Do’s
Frequent hand washing (avoid touching face)
Stay home for 1 week to avoid infecting others
Use old compress for lid swelling
Wipe doorknobs, phones, keyboards with disinfectant, like diluted bleach solution
Consult your eye doctor for questions

Don’ts
Do not self-treat
Do not use mother’s milk or urine as eye drops
Do not use mangagaw (also used as unsubstantiated herbal treatment for dengue) as eye drops
Do not use Decilone tablets
Do not use a hankie or towel wipe your eyes; use disposable tissue instead

  3. I experience sore eyes last month but it just disappear for a couple of days.. Its really important on how to take care of your eyes and If something is in your eyes like dust don't rub it with your hands, let your tears to the work because tears can disappear dust in your eyes.
